Hello travelers, school's out for the summer and we're thinking about getting out as well . . . out of the country that is, to enjoy a week or two abroad with some fellow Roaming Buffs!

Have a look at our featured trips and let us know which one to reserve for you.

This is an often overlooked area but it has special charm and shouldn't be missed. Experience the joys of life in the heart of southwestern France's Dordogne River Valley, a delightful region renowned for its stunning beauty, delectable cuisine, splendid castles and charming villages. Visit the caves at Lascaux (in photo) to view the Upper Paleolithic art that's 16,000 years old. Click here for more details. Click here for a printable pdf.

Biking & Barging in Germany - Sept. 5-13, 2008
June might be bike-to-work month in the States but in Europe they've perfected the art of biking for pleasure. A few additional spaces have opened up on this trip and we hope you'll join us for a vacation that can be both invigorating and relaxing. Unpack once and enjoy a leisurely cruise on a modernized barge down the Mosel River or bike next to it on this unique tour. We start in Metz, France and disembark in Cochem, Germany with daily excursions in-between; all meals included as well as bikes, helmets and most important, bike guides. All levels welcome and encouraged. Click here for more details. Click here for a printable pdf.

2009 Eclipse Viewing in China - July 13-23
Join CU's Doug Duncan, ex-National Public Radio "Science Guy" and current director of CU's Fiske Planetarium for an unforgettable experience. Join Doug and a team of China experts will take you on a magnificent tour of China and an optional Tibet extension. Add in nature's most astonishing spectacle, a total eclipse of the sun, and you have a recipe for an experience of a lifetime. This will fill up quickly - note that this is for July 2009! Click here for more details.

Alumni Campus Abroad® Cortona - July 9-17, 2008
What can be said about Tuscany that hasn't already been said? What better opportunity to put your stimulus check to work and see what all the hype is about. This attractively-priced trip is sure to go up next year and we still have space for last minute travelers. Visit the land of the ancient and mysterious Etruscans via Cortona, Assisi and Florence to name only a few places we'll visit. Unpack once, most meals included and the best guides east of the Atlantic are only a handful of the too numerous to mention highlights of this trip.
